Badges give you more access to tools and machines, and show your achievements and skill sets.

Each badge represents your skill, and safety clearance. Some machines and works require a certain badge. To obtain a badge, you need to either:

  • Attend one of our courses
  • Demonstrate your skills and understandings of safety to staffs

When you meet one of above requirements, you will receive a badge.

A badge card, on which you put your badges, is issued upon registration. You are required to wear the card when your work at Makers.

For example, to operate laser cutting machine, you need Laser badge. When you solder something, you must have Solder badge.
